Ocean Diagnostics' mission is to diagnose and protect our planet from the threats of plastic pollution and biodiversity loss through science, technology and partnerships. In the Odaqua Mission's case, this translates into the community science campaign, where youth volunteers will sample for microplastics on our shorelines.

From there, we will run the collection through a portable research tool called 'Saturna', that uses customized computer vision algorithms and machine learning (AI) to accurately analyze and provide category predictions on visible microplastic particles collected.

This data will be uploaded to Mariana, the world's only cloud-based collaborative and open-source microplastics data portal. By improving and understanding of global plastic distribution, we help provide data for solutions.
